Minelab GPX-4500

The GPX-4500 is going to
be one of the hall-mark detectors that Minelab have
ever built.
We all thought that the 4000 was a great machine but just look at these
impressive improvements:-
* Two New Timings;
* Smoother Threshold using the Stabilizer control;
* Quiet operation using SETA technology;
* Improved handling of climatic electrical interference;
* Improved handling of the Earth's Magnetic Field, when the coil id used
vertically;
* Improved ground balance on magnetic soils as well as heavily mineralised
soils;
* Improved Discrimination;
* Built-in Amplifier in the battery;
* New Target volume;
* New Backlight in the LCD;
* More Pre-set search modes for easy detecting;
* Ability to name your own personal Pre-set modes
* Ground Balance Off position for neutral soils;
* Improved Heavy Duty Power Lead;
* Improved Battery Harness;
* Modified End-Caps for easier assembly and improved weight distribution.
SETA (Smart Electronic Timing Alignment) Technology is a real breakthrough
in the GPX-4500. Rather than the detector being aligned with just one
alignment, the GPX-4500 is now automatically aligning itself to each of
the
timings. This is going to give a noticeably more stable detector, less
susceptible to thunderstorms and other electrical interference, able to
operate with a vertical coil as in scanning creek banks, mullock heaps or
just putting your detector down to dig a hole without picking up the
interference from the Earth's Magnetic field. SETA will also allow the
GPX-4500 to ground balance out the highly magnetic grounds, found in some
areas.

Introduction
Jack
loves to find gold. It is his passion. His Detector Shop in Greta NSW is
crammed full of books, maps, GPS systems, scales, coils, and of course an
excellent range of secondhand and new Minelab Detectors.
Jack is an author, a producer, an adventurer, and detecting enthusiast. Many of you would be familiar with his 5 video's and numerous articles for Australian adventure magazines including, Gold Gem and Treasure, Overlander and Australian Post.

For nine months of the year Jack conducts his business giving trusted advice, words of wisdom and friendly information to prospectors Australia wide. For the other three months of the year Jack heads bush. Video Camera in hand he grabs some close friends and along with his wife Margie, and daughter Maria immerses himself in the Australian wilderness searching for gold. Along the way have been triumphs and tragedies, laughter and sadness, victory and defeat. He has lost his closest friend, a wonderful bushy who those of you familiar with Jack's Prospecting Documentaries know as Gordon, an unselfish man just as excited by the prospect of a bush yam as a 20 ounce nugget. The Family have also said good-bye to their faithful dog Vashti. Many of you will recollect the big goofy and warm hearted Gordon Setter, tongue lolling waiting at the gate as you have entered Jacks Shop over the years.
One thing has always remained. Jack and those with him always get good gold. What's his secret? A love for and knowledge of the bush doesn't go astray. The latest Minelab Detectors certainly help, as does coil selection. Remember, these are useless tools without commitment, determination, planning, and above all research.
One thing is certain however and that is Jack can and will help you. This is why Jack has asked me to develop a Web Resource specifically devoted to those who love detecting for gold in the Australian bush...
Any Questions? Give Jack a call. He's only too happy to talk about Gold.
